    The Tips and Tricks Thread

    Thread Starter: Ole Anderson

OK, let's see if this gets legs. Some time ago I asked (in the Forum Tech Support forum which apparently almost no one reads) if we could have a separate forum dedicated to workshop tips and tricks. Well that didn't go anywhere, so why not just have a thread dedicated to your ideas around the...

    Your Favorite Value Clamps

    Thread Starter: Brian Gumpper

I need to pick up some more clamps in the 36 inch range. I figured I’d see if anybody had any value options that work well. I have some Bessy and Jorge now but just trying to save a couple bucks.

    Thread Starter: Wayne Nicholson

    Thread Starter: Karl Card

Hi folks, I am wanting to clean my table saw top. I am going to use a maroon scouring pad with wd40 but want to know what will take the wd40 off so I can wax it. Some videos just say use a degreaser but I was going to use purple power and when I fact checked it stated that it MAY not be good...

    Things are booming around here.

    Thread Starter: Tom M King

I"ve never seen anything like it. During the 33 years that I built spec houses on the lake, I saw a few recessions and built a smaller house those years. It was always a mistake as I could just as easily built a big house and still sold it. Land value has always gone up. I'd buy a lot one...

The jointer is just for getting the wood flat and straight. Good finish can come from a planer. My son in law made guitars for a while. the wood was so

I know some people do, but I got caught by the guy who did it. So I have to count Orings when I buy them. Last job as a purchasing manager and inventory
