I just got a can of this:

Haven't used it much yet, but it smells like oranges instead of chemicals, so plus one for that.

Just a tray with shelf liner and stones. Grinder is out in the garage.509469
Eh, that was the main driver for me to get bronze in the 3 and 4. No shame.
Last weekend I ran across a Wards 45 at an antique store. It looked almost brand new and came with the original box, instructions, and a full box of cutters. It was marked at $320. I didn't bother...
What the hell, Derek? :)
Michael Jenks. He's great.
The MKII are great.
They've been popping up in stock pretty regularly lately. They sell out fast, but they're getting there.
Michael Jenks. He's on FB too. Just Plane Fun the parts division.
I just worked with him to get various parts and cutters for my 45. Really good guy.
Pretty hard to pick a favorite. My vintage Stanleys and Millers Falls are great.
But...I'll have to say LN bronze #3.
Nice.
Can certainly relate to having parts and plans around for a long time before getting around to it.
I'm a weirdo. I like a nice, tall knob.
Type 12s are my favorite. I'm working the last of the iron on this one's sister.
They've had a lot of items popping up in stock lately. They all sell out immediately, but seems like a good sign. I'm sure there's a lot of pent up demand, so it'll be a bit yet before they can...
Explorer is bigger.
The six inch are great. The 12 inch flex and bend when you look at them.
Speak for yourself there, fella.
Not all of us are so lucky. :(
Much appreciated.
Please report back. I'm missing t&g cutters for my 45 and am interested in your findings.
Cheers to your continued improvement, sir.
I hate to muddy up a sale thread, but I agree with Joe. I have 3 DMT stones and 4 Shapton Pros. The DMT get all the grunt work and are much more convenient when flattening backs, etc.
JKM router plane, perhaps?
Same. Non-ox with StarTron. Snowblower, mower, boat...fill it full, run it through the engine for a few minutes, store it.
Replace the fuel line while you're in there.
Honda makes a dependable machine for sure, but give me a Toro Super Recycler any day.
The Toro is way more maneuverable, mulches leaves far better, and Personal Pace is head and shoulders above...
