I was clearing out a space in my shop and came across an 18inch scroll saw that someone gave me about 10 years ago. I've been woodworking for decades and I've just never really used it. I had occasion to look at some Festool products on a recent trip. Nice stuff. I knew they were expensive but I had no idea :eek:. I'm no stranger to paying for quality, and I generally advocate for that approach. That said, is their stuff worth the dough or is it just for cork sniffers?

I picked up a Sliding Bevel from Chris Vesper last weekend and just wanted to say that while it's not cheap it genuinely is an amazingly good sliding bevel.
Aside from the fact it's machined beautifully and looks great the blade locking mechanism works extremely well....

Here you are another episode of the inexperienced woodworker.
Yesterdy I tried to flatten the back of a Robert Sorby long paring chisel.
Because the diamond stone was taking too long I used 150grit quality sandpaper on a float glass.
I decided to stick a 3inches wide by 12 inches long...
Once it is posted, there isn't any way to delete them that I know of. Deleting photos would leave gaps in posts, the same way linking photos stored elsewhere
Dehumidifiers should not run constantly. They are more efficient when they stoop periodically. If you turn down the control, they will stil dehumidify,
