That looks like a very nice saw. I especially like the fence. I wonder if that extrusion is available somewhere? I could be fitted to a standard Bies clone.

It is listed on the W1888 parts page for $86.85 and attaches with T-nuts. Part number X1888521 FENCE FACE. Should be easy to mod a Bies fence with one. The W1888 table is 27" deep according to the specs. The fence extrusion looks to be just a tad more. Maybe 30" long? Too short for most cabinet saws.

Final build. Still need to calibrate the fence and blade, but primary stuff is done. Really happy so far - delivery, packaging, price, build quality, directions, parts included, table and wing flatness, etc. Adds include a Kreg miter gauge, Rockler DustRight bin for a Bosch router table I repurposed, some nuts/bolts from Home Depot, and a couple Leecraft #CR-4 zero clearance inserts from Silvers Mill. Next add will be some kind of hinged outfield table. Nice upgrade from the ole' Ridgid. Anxious for the first cut.

This crazy... Less than a month ago, the Shop Fox W1888 was $1,570 at Home Depot. Today it is $3,250! More than double. What the what? And the Shop Fox W1837 was $1,075 and is now $1,999. I cannot believe how high these prices have gone. I hope this stuff comes back down to Earth is the world ever stabilizes.

If you are close and have to have one, there is a place in Macon, GA that has one advertised on FB Marketplace with a “going out of business” price. Not my listing mind you but may help someone out if you want that W1837 model specifically. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...9040684924441/

My guess is HD just didn't update the price and didn't realize until they noticed they were loosing money. Grizzly also makes mistakes. I got my G0766 lathe for about $500 off because a few years earlier a youtuber did a video review and at the end posted a discount code. It was for something like 10% off but instead of taking 10% off the current price it was 10% the actual price at the time of the video. Within a few days the discount stopped working. For large companies they just eat the loss and move on. If the order hasn't shipped they can cancel it but once it's delivered there's not much they can do.
