Steve,
Same problem and it only seems to happen on SMC. Using a Mac computer with Safari. When I down load picture to my computer it is in "attachment.php.html" format, not jpg or other picture format. I wonder if it is trying to open picture in browser and can't? Also, when I click on picture I'm sent to another page telling me I'm not logged in, when I am.

I have noticed that whenever I get a red x instead of a picture, I am not logged in. All I have to do is log in and the pictures appear.

Larry: I also occasionally have this same problem, even though I am already logged in. Once again, only on SMC. I am using a PC with internet explorer. Most pictures I am able to see. Still don't know why I occasionally have these problems.
Steve
Aaron, Aaron, are you out there? Can you shed any light on the problems Steve and I are having.
Larry,
Send Aaron a private Message, he has been involved in a sign project lately and he is wrapping up a summer class he has been teaching so he has been real busy
.
Thanks Keith

Are you using the "Remember Me" option when logging in, and are you automatically logged in?

I always manually log in. When I first posted this thread, I only had a red x in the first 2 posts. Today, I can actually see the pictures.
I switched to a mac and now get a question mark where a picture should be. Some pictures still show, but some have the question mark.
Any suggestions???

George, hang-in there. Keith and Aaron are working on it.
Same problem with my Mac, but looks like some windows users are also having problem viewing pictures. Don't think it's a Mac only problem.
I'v had my Mac for 7 years - not a single virus or other problem - would never buy a windows computer again.

Problem resolved!!
If you notice, some picture links go to www.sawmillcreek.org, and others simply link to "sawmillcreek.org" (without the www).
The log on cookie has been modified to work on both sawmillcreek.org and www.sawmillcreek.org.
(You were asked to log in again when viewing certain pictures, because your login cookie did not work between domains.)
Sorry it took so long, but it was a tricky thing to pinpoint!
