    Need Computer Help

Setting up a different computer and I know there is a way that when I go to SMC, I can select which forums I want to see. I know it was someway that you type in the address and you only see the forums that you selected. I just can't remember how to do it. Thanks for your help.

The address for SMC that takes you to the list of forums is https://sawmillcreek.org/forum.php

To go directly to a specific forum such as the Off Topic forum the address is https://sawmillcreek.org/forumdispla...ff-Topic-Forum

General woodworking & power tools is: https://sawmillcreek.org/forumdispla...nd-Power-Tools

    Neanders go to: https://sawmillcreek.org/forumdispla...nderthal-Haven

    Von,

Could this be what you are looking for, a search string that includes new messages from just your desired forums (or excludes those you don't want to see)?

For example, to look at just the Off Topic, General, Turning, and Carving, use this (as a shortcut or paste into the browser):
    www.sawmillcreek.org/search.php?do=getnew&include=12,3,20,43

If you use this search string it will just show the forums you want to see. The numbers represent the specific forums. You can find the numbers by hovering your cursor over the name of the forum. There may be another way, I don't know.

This message by Thomas Bank has some details and how to "exclude" rather than "include":

(You should probably leave off the "http" in his instructions)
