    45th wedding anniversary

    Today is our 45th, and here we are sitting at the RV service center waiting to have a power tongue jack installed. Anniversary present to me, no more hand cranking up our 25’ trailer. We’ll go out for a nice dinner tonight after we get it home and set back up. This was taken last summer at our 1974 wedding site in the Berkeley, CA hills.

    A happy day! I hope you get to wear the wheels off that portable house! If you don't already have one...you really need

    Good idea. I sometimes will play Willie Nelson “On the road again” when we start off.

    Congrats Joe, quite an accomplishment. I assume she must be a saint to put up with one of us.
    Best, Patrick . . . .heading towards our 41st end of December, and she is a saint to put up with me!

    Congrats Joe. My wife and I have our very first anniversary coming up a week from Friday. I'm a ways behind most of you!

    My parents are going to be celebrating their 60th anniversary in March. If I get to 60 I'll be 108 years old!

    Hey Joe, our 45th was last month! We did not have a party, instead we helped throw a 40th birthday party for our eldest daughter. A date at the RV store sounds about right. I think 45 is the RV anniversary. Congratulations!

    When we got married in '72 my wife gave us 6 months.
    I warned her now I found her (I'm from Vancouver Canada, she's from Johannesburg and was living in Israel) I would never let her go.
    Poor thing, she's had to deal with a PITA like me since.
    Young enough to remember doing it;
    Old enough to wish I could do it again.
