Nice video Brent! I really, really, really appreciate that I can actually hear your audio.
Thanks Tim!
I'm learning lots and trying to get better. I bought a clip-on microphone and I think it's better, but it's really sensitive and loud, and it's easy to overpower it and cause distortion, but I think it's less "echoey".

The sound is very good, especially considering what an acoustically challenging space you're in. I also really appreciate that you don't follow the youtube trend of feeling that you need to hand hold the camera & keep it constantly shaking & waving back & forth. I watch quite a bit of youtube and I'd say the production quality of yours is very good & is as good as many of the high budget professional youtubers.
Wow! Very kind words thank you! I just really wish I had faster internet because it takes HOURS to upload.
I'm still getting used to the sound issues because it seems everything is a little different and I have to manually adjust the sound to get them all level. I hate when videos go from quiet to blasting and you get the buhjeepers scared out of you!
Cheers and thanks again,
Brent

Hey Brent, I am embarking on a similar project with different means. I am going to contract the building. I want to see it finished before I die. I have a full shop’s worth of power tools in storage and paying not to use them. The size shop I plan is about the same as yours. I will have a screened porch on the side for “outdoor woodworking” and libations. My shop will be overlooking Norris Lake near La Follette, TN.
To the OP...perhaps this will help

Brent, I'm really enjoying reading this, thanks for taking the time to do this.............Rod.

Brent, thanks for the thoughts regarding Sir Ellington Snodgrass III. Unfortunately I have to report that he had a stroke and died in January at the age of 20.
I remain deeply moved by the number of well wishes from neighbours, friends and the wood working community, he was a very special cat........Rod.
P.S. Here's a photo of his paw cast.
