Thread: Locked thread question?

  1. #1

    Locked thread question?

Just curious..........why is Dick Parr's "Walnut Bowl" thread locked? I noticed the last post was asking about the Beall Buffing System, posted by a fairly new member. Not a problem, just curious?

(I was going to explain the Beall System as requested by the poster.)

Moderator notice: I don't know how it got locked, but I unlocked it this morning -- Ken

Kevin, I believe it's a problem with a user account having "capabilities" that it shouldn't--and a boo-boo was made. I messaged the webmaster about it about a minute ago.

I kinda thought that was the case Jim. I was wondering where a "certain" designation originated from. Like I said, just curious.

A new user was accidently granted "Super Moderator" status...it only takes a mistaken click in that case.

Ah, yes--the logs do indicate as such. It looks like I will have to have a talk with those with administrator rights..

Must have been a "full moon" this weekend. I got Keith to fix that early this morning.
