    Adding color?

Of course I am always looking for something new, and while I was browsing around for inspiration....

I saw something of interest, and perhaps one you know what I am talking about.

It said they wood was lasered and then a "powdered coloring" was added to the wood and then the wood was re-lasered to set the paint.

What I saw had nice rich colors, just wondering what the powdered coloring would be and want to know if any of you have experimented with this.

Nichole I'm sure I have read somewhere where this was tried but the results weren't so great.

    Experience is a wonderful thing.
It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

I've found that the Laserdarc powders work fine for spot colors, but messy to work with. I keep work on a foil cookie tray while loading the powder and cleaning the excess. Make sure to store the foil tray in a plastic bag afterwards - that powder goes everywhere.
