Um, BIll?....I'm confused. This is the San Diego Win/Lose records in the 80's taken from the NFL website:
1989 ----- 6 wins and 10 losses
1988 ----- 6 and 10
1987 ----- 8 and 7
1986 ----- 4 and 12
1985 ----- 8 and 8
1984 ----- 7 and 9
1983 ----- 6 and 10
1982 ----- 6 and 3
1981 ---- 10 and 6
1980 ---- 11 and 5
Also, they've never won a Super Bowl and have only played in one, at the end of the 1994 season (Jan. 29,1995), in which they were beaten quite handily by the Niners, 49 to 26.
Just wanted to clear that up.
