    Blanks!

I am a flat kinda guy, I do have a lathe, but don't do much turning.

I want to be a part of the Freedom Pen Project and can supply some blanks. I have Oak and Cherry right now, just let me know the dimensions, how many and where to ship them.

Thanks for letting us flat guys in on this important projectl.

    Howdy Kurt..!!!

The standard pen blank is 3/4" by 3/4" by 6" or 5-1/2". Thank you for wanting to get involved. Pen blanks will be needed for sure. I'll have to remember you on my next batch of pens.....

Moving on my way to 100 pens.....!!!
    Thanks & Happy Wood Chips,

Thanks Dennis, I'll get a bunch of them cut and ready for whoever needs some.

This is a great project and I will be honored to be a part of it.

    Hi Kurt,

I can use 30 of the cherry if you've got them. Thanks from all of us for the help.

Kurt, if you still have some, I would like to get a few from you. I can email you my address. I am currently waiting on some pen kits so I have time.

    Thanks,

Kurt if you have any cherry left I'd like to try some. I hear it turns nicely. Maybe 10 pieces. Let me know and I'll email my address. Thanks.

    Rick,

You owe me absolutely nothing! Just post a picture of the pens you make!

Happy turning, oh yea by the way, I just bought a Penn State Industries Mini lathe to attempt this pen making stuff myself.

Kurt I recieved the blanks yesterday. I may be forced to duck out of work a little early today to try them. Let me know what I owe you for shipping and I'll drop you a check.

    Thank you,

I'd love to receive about 10 white oak blanks. Email me at rflagg@fuse.net for address details...
    Thanks for your generosity!

...but watch out now, that new pen lathe is gonna grab you and not let go. I've only had mine for 2 months, but every free minute is in the shop.
