"The great thing about Wood Turning is that all you have to do is remove what's not needed to have something beautiful. Nature does tha Hard work."

A lovely piece of work, Big Mike. Great work by all involved.
That's not a light at the end of the tunnel; It's a naked singularity.

I always heard that to many cooks will spoil the soup, but evidently that does not apply to making HF's cause this is a beauty.

"Would you believe the only time I ever make mistakes is when someone is watching?"
Let me make one thing perfectly clear. This piece was done with all the turning when Travis handed it over to me and said I could finish it. That means apply finish. Travis did the majority of the turning and is responsible for the shape. The rest of us cooks just stirred the pot a little.....

I have done so much with so little for so long I am now qualified to do anything with nothing......
P.S. If you are interested in plans for any project that I post, just put some money in an envelope and mail it to me and I will keep it.
Mike's contribution was to grin like a mule eatin' briars while he hollowed on the inside. All the while singing, "I don't do hollow forms..."
My own personal contribution was this:
(1) Step up to the lathe and begin
(2) "Oh my!"
(3) Step away from the lathe
(4) "Okay Travis, let's see you fix THAT!"
