    Oliver 12" Woodworking Jointer Model 166 - Minnesota - $1800

Excellent Condition. 3 phase motor, 5hp, currently running on 240v single phase with VFD (from Jack Forsberg) . New Bearings, new blades. The original clamshell cutterhead was replaced with a new modern cutter head that was machined on a very high end CNC lathe, from a donor planer head. The head was professionally balanced. Custom made mobile base. 1919 Birth Certificate included. Everything works. No issues. Located in St. Paul, MN. Have forklift to load. I'm heading to Omaha, NE, on September 26th or 27th and can bring it anywhere along that route. I might also be heading to eastern Wisconsin in October.

Given that I replaced the belt driven clamshell head, I would say yes, it was originally belt driven.

Thank you. I agree. All the hard restoration work has been done. Good for another 100 years!
