    Sam Maloof Woodturnings?

In one of the videos about Sam Maloof I briefly noticed some of his woodturnings. Is there a more detailed source for this type of his work?

I had no idea he did any turning. Sam and his wife Alfreda collected a lot of work from other Craftsman and artists. Bob Stocksdale was one turner he collected.

In the same video I saw a woodturning lathe and assumed the bowls were from Maloof's hands. I didn't stop to consider it might be from another craftsman.

I forget the turner's name but a former Creeker had Maloof buy one of his turnings at a WW show in either Memphis or New Orleans. This turner died a few years ago. He was rightly proud of the fact that Maloof bought one of his turnings. His name was Keith Burns maybe.

David Ellsworth traded a couple of his turnings with Maloof for a rocking chair; I sat in it.
