    Simple Showcase

Built a simple showcase. It is all plywood construction, and uses pocket-hole joinery. Center piece is roughly 4' wide, and the side pieces are a little over 3' wide.
Took around 4 months to build, a few hours a week.

All three pieces in place. First time used prefinished plywood. Saves a lot of time.

The test fit of the doors. It's all maple plywood. Top doors flip-up when opened. Center row of doors were later cut to fit glass.

And, the openings for the glass routed.

Glass installed in the door, along with the shelves. It took almost 1.5 months to find the glass due to my laziness in calling suppliers. Doors got 5mm annealed glass, and the shelves are 10mm tempered glass.

Finally, lights installed. It's led strip around the perimeter, with a z-wave controller. And, my dogs couch on the front!

Beautiful result and will really be a wonderful way to display whatever collection is going in there.
