    Mystery Oneway Part?

I have a few of these Oneway Screwchucks and can't figure out their use even with the supplied instructions. Can anyone clue me in?

Install the screw and set the taper in the headstock. Not sure how to install the screw, but you may have to remove the hex end? Bring up the tailstock for roughing, then turn just like you would with the worm screw. Call Oneway on Tuesday and they would be glad to help you. It works just like a DIY screw chuck. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGX8FP2TeYI

Thanks Richard! It dawned on me shortly after posting that the main body accepts different type screw hex bits. A screw that you want to use, i.e for making a knob is inserted in the body and held in place with the brass cap. A hex head screw on the opposite end of the body further locks the screw in place. There is also a female thread on the MT2 body to allow a threaded rod to run through the spindle locking it in place. Seems like a nice tool for making knobs that you'll eventually use the same type screw. The screws are too small for much else.

Yep that's it for sure. I have one and have used it to make knobs for some of my bi-fold doors.

I think this equates nicely to wood turning as well . . . . .
