I recently purchased the 1/2” Strongbore system by Carter from Lee Valley. The linking screw broke off on first usage, visually I could see that the metal was defective at the break. Called Carter spoke with an actual human and explained the situation. Sent photos and promptly received a reply that they were sending me a new Strongbore system and no need to return the broken parts. Made my day much better. 😁
