I'm going to try this all in one post and see if I can't figure out the pictures without them coming in upside down and backwards. Bear with me please. All prices do not include shipping. Shipping will be whatever actual cost is and I'll work with the buyer to ship via their preferred method. I'm also open to trades +/- cash if you happen to have something I'm looking for (that list is tool long to write down, so just try me if you see something you want). All tools are located in NW Montana, come by and pick em up if you happen to be local.
1. Veritas low angle block plane. PM-V11 iron. This plane is pretty close to brand new. I bought it in like new condition to try out and it turns out I like the Lie Nielsen version of the 60 1/2 better. The iron hadn't been sharpened when it came to me so I put a 35 deg secondary bevel on it and did a minimal amount of polishing on the back of the iron. $130
2. Blue Spruce limited edition 16 oz mallet with lignum vitae handle. According to Blue Spruce this was the last time they were going to run the lignum vitae, that may have just been a marketing ploy though. I bought this new and only used it for a couple months before someone sent me the mallet they made for the military community last Veteran's Day. It's essentially new, will ship in it's original box. $80
3. Record number 073 Shoulder plane. I bought this one from Patrick Leach a couple years ago. He had it priced at $220, which I think is still fair considering the cost of Lie-Nielsen's version. This one's iron is in nice shape. I put a little bit of work into polishing the back of the iron and put a 35 deg secondary bevel on it. It's in great shape with a very nice patina. Mouth is set for a very fine cut and it performs perfectly. $220
4. Stanley Bedrock 608 jointer plane. Round sides and corrugated sole. It's got a single patent date of '95. I don't know enough about Stanley history to determine what "type" that makes it. I do know that I put minimal work into tuning it and it performs quite well for jointing long boards. The back of the iron isn't perfect, but it's good enough to use the ruler trick to take and hold an edge. Secondary bevel polished at 35 deg. The lever cap has the big Stanley R & L BED ROCK logo. Again I only did the minimal tuning to make it take a fine cut. Patina is all there if you're into that sort of thing. $225 (half of it's comparable replacement's price)
5. Auburn Tool Co match plane set. These are matching tongue and groove planes that are in great shape for likely being about 150 years old. No no significant issues. These are the no. 74 set for 7/8" boards. The irons could use a little bit of work in order to be perfect, but I have put them to work to cut satisfactory tongue and groove joints. $100 PENDING
6. Great Neck #4 sized smoothing plane. I have no idea when Great Neck was marketing hand tools or who was making them. However, this thing isn't awful. Everything is tight on it and I'm curious to see if it can be put into service. This one is FREE, just cover shipping. Give it a tune up and take a risk on a free smoother, or scavenge it for parts. Choice is yours.
I think that's all for now. I'm finishing building a toolchest and doing some spring cleaning. There's a chance I find more tools that I haven't touched recently and don't fit in the new chest. Pictures will be in replies below...
