That seems like an accurate assessment, Jim. I just upgraded today, and haven't seen much new besides a somewhat more confusing looking design screen and the clamp avoidance feature. Hopefully, I'll find something that justifies the cost.

There's a thread on the Vectric forum on the v12 upgrade. There's a lot of unhappy campers. I decided to stick with 10.5 for now.
Please help support the Creek.

I bought the upgrade from VCarvePro. Cost in Canadian dollars was just under $300. I bought now because Vectric warned that they will be increasing the price any time now. My mistake. So far, the negatives caused by the things that they took away from 11.5 outweigh the positives. That may change in time, but for right now, I'm using 11.5 most of the time. They are already up to patch 11.005, so if I wait them out, who knows what they will "fix"?

One of the most used commands for me in the previous version was using the spacebar to repeat the last vector command (was a habit when drawing a series of straight lines).
This no longer works.
Does anyone know if it was reassigned to some other hotkey?
That was one of the first things I noticed. Hope it returns.
Be sure you post about that command change in the Vectric forum so it can be addressed by Vectric staff.

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
In addition to Jim's advice, be sure to write to support@vectric.com. The do reply. I wrote to them about the space bar issue, FWIW.
