    Picture frame black

Im looking to make a load of simple black frames 1x1 with a rabbet. I want to keep the finish a flat-satin finish. What would be the best way to go about this. I have an older fuji q4 unit with a new gun. I was thinking of bringing them to my office and spraying them with a fan blowing because i don't have a spray booth and I'm in a cramped garage. I have not used this sprayer yet my finishing up to now has been rattle can and wipe on finishes.

Several ways to do this. The simplest would be to spray black lacquer with the sheen you want. Two coats and done. Another way to go about it would be to use India Ink first and then spray it with clear lacquer. Or Milk Paint first and then lacquer.

TC and GF both offer waterborne black lacquers in satin sheen.
