Beautiful work, Jack! That hardware rocks!
That's a big door or a small person.
Looks great I like the colors.
Absolutely exquisite!!
I really like that!! Great work!
It looks like you turned the wheels for it. I really like that idea. I'd love to see more details on how you made the wheels and tracks. The track appears fairly straightforward but that can be deceiving as well.
I'd like to build not just the door but the wheels and track for one we are planning in our house. Granted it won't be as large as yours (that thing looks huge) and it may be 6 months before I build mine as I'm slow and my projects are many.
That's a great looking door. Very nicely done! Definitely not a cookie cutter big box store door. Thanks for sharing.
IMG_6556.jpgyes the wheels are turned on the lathe . i pressed two 6203 bearing and made a shaft . the hanger is 2" round bar cut in half . these are the HVAC vents made on the lathe as well .

Jack that looks great! That's the best looking HVAC vent I've seen! And functional!
What a great looking door and vent. Keep it up!
how did you make the track? love the home made hardware.
Tiny little thing... LOL And beautiful work!
I've become a real fan of barn-style sliding doors and pocket doors in recent times. That one is really worthy!
