    Found a cheaper tool spray.

I bought a spray can for the snow blade on the tractor. It is Dupont Snow & Ice Repellent, made to keep snow from sticking. So....... I thought I would try it to replace Glide Cote. Works well, drys to a clear dry film, buff off lightly just like glide coat. I then rubbed a piece of wood hard on the top of my shaper where I had treated it and sprayed it with a finish to see if I got fisheyes, no fisheyes. Home Depot has it for 8 bucks a can.

Works good on the snow blades as well.

You might want to rethink using that in your shop. According to Amazon where it is being sold: it is a Non-stick clear coating formulated with Teflon fluoropolymer and silicone to ensure optimum non-stick performance "
