With my L-N 51 I am happy to shoot 7/8" thick, not sure where the limit is...….
However, like Derek, thicker stuff is easy to do in the vice.

Oh, my. Sounds like one of those LV Online Black Friday deals that some people have to stay awake at 2am but still miss the goodies.
A plane with a (probably tracked) shooting board, to me, beats any Prime Day deal!

My shooting plane and board arrived today. In answer to my own question, above, yes you can shoot 3/4" hardwood with it. A bit of wax makes it easier. A nice product that I can recommend w/o reservation. Thank you Rob.
