Just looking for opinions, for a sofa table I'm finishing up. Debating whether to leave the edge square where it will be against the couch. Thoughts?

I'd profile all four edges. Someday it might be taller than the couch it is placed behind.
That's true, I may use a different (narrower) router bit in that case. I planned on using a new table edge bit but it eats up some little over an inch which is a lot for this shallow table
Thanks!

If the back overhangs the case similar to the front, I would probably edge it as well. If it is flush, I would leave it square.
Rustic? Well, no. That was not my intention!
This is something to keep in mind in a general sense, as well. Awhile back I built a cabinet above the refrigerator and I made it a close fit. Now, we're looking for a new refrigerator and I have to be very careful about size. Many are an inch or so taller than my existing one. I boxed myself in with the cabinet, limiting my options, when I could have left more space when I designed it.
