Well, yeah. I don't need a grizzly saw to see how the thing works. The smaller of the two "spacers" (with the set screw in the picture) has to be adjusted every tme you change the tension, and it is hard to get ahold of under ideal circumstances. It's a very tight fit between the cross bars and it wants to get stuck against the larger spacer. If the whole thing doesn't line up (or it racks to the side) it's almost impossible to adjust that lower spacer. Basically what you have to do is add tension, move spacer. Add tension, move spacer. Add tension, move spacer.

That being said I notice (now) that the newer versions of the Grizzly saws have doubled up the cross bars (two on each side), which might give the thing more resistance to racking when you up the tension.
