Will Dried Bleach Still Fade Dye? Need More Contrast.

If I bleach mahogany, and let it dry, will dye applied afterwards still fade? Under deadline and need the information as soon as possible. Thanks!

If that doesn't work, I need a way to increase contrast between wood and the pyrography... Any suggestions? Gilding perhaps? Gilding Wax? Paint?

Jim, it should work. Let it dry at least overnight after bleaching. Use a hydrocarbon based dye. I know you have a deadline but do test pieces on scrap of all your alternatives in case the bleach and dye doesn't work how you want it to. Cheers
