Here is a vase I did last week from a block of cherry that John Hart sent to me. Thanks again John!

Hey...that looks pretty nice Chris! I bet it'll get even classier as it ages and gets darker

Chris, that is much too elegant to be a simple vase. That definitely fits into the vahse category..... Nicely done!

I have done so much with so little for so long I am now qualified to do anything with nothing......
P.S. If you are interested in plans for any project that I post, just put some money in an envelope and mail it to me and I will keep it.
Elegant looking piece, Chris! Gee, I wonder if I've got a vase like that in my box of wood from John, as well???

Wow, you turners are doing some very cool stuff! Art work is what it is. Very nice. I would like to give it a shot one of these days!

Very nice vase, Chris, is it heartwood? Post it again when it darkens.

Great looking vase. Form and finish are great.
I'm with the others, wonderful form and finish. Very classy!
Chris,
Nice bowl, very beautiful! I bought a piece of cherry Monday of this week to turn into my first bowl...last night someone broke into my garage and stole my Jet Mini VS (charge on my credit card yet unpaid) and my brand new Rikon and all turning tools. I am very discouraged...they could have taken other stuff that would not have hurt as bad, it is like stealing candy from a baby.
On the other hand, your work is encouraging. I have moved every thing to the corners of my garage, covered them and quit for awhile. Keep posting and I am trying to find my smile.
