charles....i use all kinds of things including gluing sand paper to saws, palette knives, and making my own discs. i seal with water based outdoor polyurethane.....mostly for the UV protection.
yikes....jumped 20 thousand hits in 3 days!! sincere thanks to all that take the time to take a look.
All I can say is WOW Just WOW. How many hours did it take for carving and for painting?
