Dino, I've held off my order so I could see the new products and pricing. Are they still coming out today?

Then you can say hello to .005" (5.000 of an inch) accuracy over 5'-00" long. We're shooting a video the same time to make it eZier for all.
The new EZ stuff are designed to work with all EZ Rails and the pricing is same as usual.
Thanks Jim.

Hi Jim. Hello guys.
Our biggest problem is finding an accurate tape measure to keep up with the extreme accuracy of the Repeater and the EZ.
Not so EZ.
at the last 3 pictures the caliper shows repeat accuracy down .005"
We may start shipping this thing without a tape measure.

yes. I know guys. Commercial posts are prohibited on SMC.
But this is the labor of love.
And the Ez is not about making a better tool. It's all about finding a better way to enjoy our trades and crafts and allow others to find theirs.
Thanks SMC for all the help and for understanding our mission.

Have your credit card's ready guys.
We need your money to make more EZ Stuff and woodworking better.
Dino is one of us, and we rarely have a Member who has somethng of value.
So, I hope you continue to allow Dino to post.
I have offered my help in marketing the EZGuide products to a wider audience, at no charge to Dino.
Marketing is my area of expertise--not woodworking.
He has not said yes, yet.
THe downside of Dino going mainstream is his prices will have to increase by 30-40% to cover marketing costs.
ALL--please, tell the moderaters how you feel about this unique circumstance.
BILL FIELDS
Bill,
We have always shown Dino some leadway concerning his EZ System. Certainly his system is beneficial to our members including myself since I own one, Dino has also been a major supporter of SawMill Creek and the Freedom Pens Project. Dino and his company have donated many of his systems that were auctioned here and the proceeds were donated to help us fund SMC and the FPP.
Our policy concerning advertising is to protect our community from in-your-face ads that saturate our world these days. Sadly our policy does in fact limit some of our members from sharing items of interest that would be of value to our woodworking community. The loss is usually minimal compared to how much we gain from having a place to gather and share our woodworking knowledge and experience without having to deal with 15 minutes of advertising for each 15 minutes of content. We do evaluate all posts to make sure that our community is not being taken advantage of to make sure the content isn't pure advertising.
By the way, where are you from?
Does that mean that the rest of us are wasting our time posting? I would have to say that because his products are not available in my market I find Dino's posts to be of relatively little value to me - certainly compared to many of the other posts on this forum.Originally Posted by Bill Fields
For what the opinion is worth - there are manufacturers forums available. I personally think that Dino's posts are overly commercial and have contributed to the excitable aymosphere that has sometimes arisen in posts where members have tried to evaluate competing systems. If he wants to use this forum to publicise his wares he has the opportunity to do it through posts in the manufacturers forums. I also don't see this sitution as particularly unique. There are others who post here who have a commercial interest in the threads that they post to but manage to make their contributions factual and non-partisan - in so doing bringing great value to the forum.Originally Posted by Bill Fields
If he wants to make contributions to other discussions which are taking place then I look forward to his input - which will have about the same value as the many other informed and knowledgable contributors whoi visit here.
The Ez is available in UK. You can find it here.Originally Posted by Ian Barley

dino, keep posting. seeing what new inventions that are out there is very interesting and informative. with regrets to ian, i think posts from inventors adds insight. in the cases where the emotions run a little warm, the interaction can be informative, if not entertaining at times.
it also causes us all to think about how and why we do things. it's just jigs and fixtures taken to another level.
is there salesmanship involved? always. the biggest selling job is when you sell your wife on the idea that you need a new tool. see, we are all salesmen and inventors at heart. the inventor is not selling as much as he introducing you to his new creation. he just wants you to understand what it can do.
this appears to be dino's drive. he just wants a listening ear. from what i've seen, your eyes and ears will both enjoy, and you will count the benefits on all your fingers.

repeatability and accuracy down to .002
one picture shows the caliper stuck at the same measurement.
and take this as the last hint of...what was in my mind today.
and every day for the last three years.
back to work now. this "thing" is upset.ok!!! the final-last hint.
by the way. i like your "NO CAPITAL LETTER" style.
i copy that in the photo gallery.
enjoy the fifth element of woodworking. the fifth stop.
i need a brake now.
