    Holtzapffel Workbench

I’ve video taped and blogged about my Holtzapffel Workbench at my blog, TheDustyDeveloper.com. There is nearly 2 hours of video (linked from youTube) in case anyone is interested. Its made from Ambrosia Maple and a little walnut just for kicks. Its small, only a little over 5 ft and the vise can handle about 18” between the screws.
    Thanks
    Steve

Steve, that is one fine looking bench. BTW, I watched the last of your videos (you did a great job on that, too), and it looks like that vise is going to be a pleasure to use.
How much does your bench weigh?

    Thanks!

Not really sure what it weights but its probably a couple hundred. I put it on plastic furniture pads to move it on the concrete floor and just left them under there. I can plane against the plane stop and it doesn't move even on those pads...the soft foam on the pads helps with the unlevel floor too.
