    Many thanks to everyone for the kind comments. Don't be shy about putting something back on the lathe for another look. If you didn't like it's original form, maybe a tweak or two can give it new life and your skills may have improved in the interim.

    Wow. That is a great final shape. Nice and big and perfect for popcorn. Glad you hung on to it, tried again, and shared some pics. Very well done!

    I went back in time and looked at your bowls from 5 years ago, Ted. Kinda cool what time will do!! There was nothing wrong with your style back then, and this modification simply shows a refinement that can only come from refinement of touch. Pretty neat!.
