    They really don't show on the actual piece as much as they do on the photos. I am not sure where they came from other then Maple is very hard to stain and get perfect.

    Really nice job on the table. I'm a big fan of tables with enclosed storage, hides and organizes stuff you don't want to display.

    Good work on a great first project! I think my first project was a chest also... but I just butt-jointed the sides, no frame/panel, and no drawers! Impressive tackling of several key woodworking tasks on a first project, I can tell we'll be seeing more from you soon!
