    This weeks Doodle

    New chuck and new lathe just like downtown!!!!
    HF 12x36 lathe and a woodriver chuck.

    Eric, the HF is actually a nice little lathe. I enjoyed mine, and it really got me started. I can tell you, though, you may upgrade quickly once the fever sets in hard!!

    Roland the plater/thingy came from an Oak plank.
    it is 9-1/2" and was just a test.

    Your "just a test" is really nice there, as is all the others! And just a plank? Isn't it amazing what can come out of all the stuff we have laying around?

    Eric, nice practice pieces. Who knew that you could have so much fun with a small chunk of wood .....seems like I've heard that one somewhere. Is that the eyes of the 4 eyed screw monster looking out of the bottom of your platter/thingy. Man I hate when that happens.
