Cheryl has put up with me for 20 years......

Tomorrow (Dec.1) will be our 20th anniversary. Seems only like yesterday that we were skinny and just starting out. She has certainly endured much being married to me for that long.

Cheryl has been having a bit of trouble with her old car of late. She's driving a rental and her's is in the shop. I decided to suprise her with something better to dirve for my anniversary present. She is expecting her old car to be waiting on her when she returns the rental this evening but instead it will be this...........

She has always had to drive less than great cars. I sure hope this will be to her liking. She surely deserves it after putting up with me for this long.

If at 1st you don't succeed, go back to the lumberyard and get some more wood.

Boy, just when I was getting to enjoy this site, someone ruins it!!! Now I will never be able to log on to this site when the LOML is anywhere in the house or near the computer. She will demand to know why after over 30 years she doesn't have one of those.

All kidding aside Terry, that is one fine gift to someone who means so much in your life. I wish you and your wife a very happy anniversary and many more to come. May God bless you and your loved one.

Geepers....you're going to have a lot of your fellow woodworkers wanting to marry you, Terry!

    (CONGRATULATIONS on your 20!!!!!!!!!)

BTW, you need someone to take pictures of your lovely when she shows up for her "clunker"...

Man, I didn't realize that your anniversary is the same as SWMBO and mine. She got perfume. Man, she's jealous of the car. At least it's not an "all I got is this t-shirt".

    Congrats.

    14 years this way.

Thanks guys!!!! Cheryl called me on her cell from the rental place when she figured out what was going on and was crying so much I could hardly understand her. I guess that means I did good!! It pleases me very much for her to be happy. Maybe now I won't get the "Honey, guess what my car did" phone calls any more.

BTW...Sorry Jim, I'm already spoken for.

Way to go, Terry! I did that once for my wife, although she got in on the shopping, so there was no bow on the car. Easiest present I ever bought for her. I mean, it was time to get a new car anyway.

But I have it topped this year - she's getting a puppy! It's what she wants more than anything in the world.

Sorry Terry...after 20 years with you...you should have put her up for sainthood.

From one who knows...enjoy every minute of today with her...and everyday. It's even more special than you know.
