    Flag Pens

When I first heard about the Freedom Pens Project, it sounded like a really great idea. It has gone way beyond that and I would like to congratulate everyone in shattering the original 2004 goal! I was lucky enough to be able to participate in several local Turn-A-Thons to contribute some pens to the effort.

To start my contribution toward the 2005 goal, I just finished and sent in this set of flag pens. They are made from a variety of woods: Bolivian rosewood, narra, padauk, pau amarello, purpleheart, redheart, walnut and zebrawood.

As an added bonus, the FPP led me to the SawMill Creek forums and all the great information, recommendations, tips, and encouragement that you all have provided to everyone on a wide variety of topics. I am proud to be a participant in the Freedom Pens Project and now as a member of SawMill Creek.

Many thanks and keep up all the great work!
