What have you built for Christmas

How busy have you been in the shop for christmas projects? and remember no pictures, it didn't happen........ Here are my last 4 projects, I actually have done 6 but I can't find the pictures of the other one's... I also rebuilt a King Seeley craftsman bandsaw in the midst of building these projects over the last 2 1/2 months. Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas and hopefully you find the time to build something from the shop for a child in need at christmas time.......I will post pic's of a 6 piece wooden train I am almost done with to be given away to a child that will not have much of a christmas. A cedar chest of drawers that I bought some time ago, it was in bad shape from a fire and I have finally pulled it apart remachined it and sanded it and now it is ready for the drawers and fronts.

Built a figured cherry end table with ebony accents for my dad's living room, and a flame birch/purpleheart cutting board from grandma....

great looking candle holders Jim, care to give any detail of how you made those? specifically the legs? Thanks

Basically there is a dado in the base that accepts the legs. Then there is a dado in the legs that is the height of the base material, they overlap each other. You make a blank for the legs, long enough that they cover 2 legs each. Then you cut the dadoes out, cut the angled ends, then cut then to size.

I made 2 foot lockers for my nephews Sam and Jake so they could squirrel away stuff and lock it from each other. I used white ash, black walnut, cherry. Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks for the compliments, I actually surprised myself how it came out. Those ebony caps weren't originally supposed to be there. The plan was wedged through tenons, but I guess I need to practice those mortises a little more. Blowout city.

Excellent job on the rockin horse Robert...............unfortunately I can't show it to the LOML or she will have me rockin on one in the shop between now and christmas.....
