Considering how much Jim contributes in information and encouragement perhaps it should be him who gets the honor of the one millionth post.

Oh, and I noticed that our "Active Members" number was just over 10,000 - what ever that means.

Have you seen the Michael Phelps commercial. They got the idea from Jim B. . My money is on Jim also. He deserves it. Bill

+1 for Jim. Where is he though? Strangly silent.... Timing it perhaps?

No matter who it is we are cooking up something special to commemorate the event. It would be almost impossible for anyone to generate a plan to be the one millionth poster, the odds of timing clicking the submit button on the exact post are huge given the number of people online here is often 500 to 600 people.

Maybe it will happen on New Years Eve, it would add one more major event for 2009 which will undoubtedly be our most eventful year to date.

    Here's an interesting statistic:

Of the 38470 listed members, only 11968 have at least 1 post.

Clearly a celebration will be in order, I wonder who will make the one millionth post here? If it is you you will have some kind of prize coming to you and this includes our Moderators, everyone is eligible, you just have to click the submit button at the right time
Our System Administrator Aaron Koehl will query our database to identify the winner once we have gone over the magic number.
