Hi Ray, I have the following blades for my TS (General 650)

    - 24T ripping blade

    - 60T ATB crosscut blade

    - 80T TCG Melamine blade 10-80 TCG/15T92.01

All of the above are Dimar blades, the last one I've given the Dimar/Lee Valley part #'s

I also have a 50T Combination blade that came with the saw, and 30 tooth blade for whenever my neighbours kid comes over with his prized piece of plywood he found in the ditch.

I've found that it's worth buying industrial blades from an industrial supplier, best selection, good prices, excellent products.

otherwise I'd buy name brand blades from retail stores.

    Regards, Rod.

    Blades sharpened

Thanks for all of the suggestions and input. I dropped my blades off for sharpening today, and I expect that my woodwork will be much easier.

I am going to use my Frued blade (mentioned above) for my miter saw. That should give me much better performance out of that machine.

Like I said above, I will make zero-clearance plates for my saws and I hope that with proper alignment, fresh blades and the plates, I will get some really nice cuts.
