Went to a tool place that was going out of business at lunch. Ended up getting a new Jet 22-44 Drum Sander for $850. I have been in the market and even a good used ones brings close to that.

Also, that is the last significant stationary tool I will need. I may upgrade a few to larger ones later, but that does it for the big ones. I wasn't dumb though, I didn't tell my wife it was the last tool. Just in case.

I got a deal on Craigslist for an 22" RBI Hawk Scroll Saw for $150 earlier this year. And you're right, I don't do lathes. ...yet...

I have a portable DC, but yearn for a real buil-in system. Maybe a clearvue system or an Oneida.

So I guess there will always be something.... But I would really like to migrate from being a professional tool collector to a woodworker! Now that would make my wife happy.

Oh that's easy... just crank out her requests first and you will get all the spousal woodworker (or tool collector) support you need.
