The Suporeme Court on the Second Amendment

    Finally:
The DC ban is now unlawful.
    As are all outright bans.
As of today no state may require that you unload, disassemble, or lock a gun kept in your home for defense or any other lawful purpose.

The right to own a firearm is now an individual right that each citizen enjoys and this right is decoupled from any notions about well regulated militias.

The debate is over, the Supreme Court has spoken.

Finally is right! I'm not sure though that it applies to all states yet. The NRA will be filing law suits in other states though. Did you hear what the DC mayor said? The law "generally does not apply to automatics and semi-automatics." What a crock! I guess only revolvers would be allowed.
