    Dye Sub Rowmark?

I gave a piece of Rowmark Lasermax and a piece of clear acrylic to a person who had does dye sub. They came back and told me neither one worked out well.

It was my understanding that both of those materials should be good candidates for dye-sub. Was I misinformed or is there something special that needs to be done or used to make this happen?

I believe you were misinformed. To be useful for dye sub. a material must be made of or have applied a polymer surface.
