    I am Back

Though it may have not been earthshaking to the creek, I have not visited in over a month.

First the closing up of my shop took my interest away from talking about woodworking.

Then my computer crashed and I was incommunicado.

Finally, a week ago today I had a heart attack! ME, a HEART ATTACK? At 86 I'm too young for that. I've had a stent implanted and pronounced good to go; so maybe I'll be around to heckle a while longer.

    Carl,

    Welcome back.....

Had my heart attack in 1996 when I was 48. There is life after a heart attack. Get involved with a good cardiac rehab program.

Geepers, Carl...couldn't you just do something boring instead of all that heart attack stuff????

Seriously, I'm glad that you weathered that storm and also glad to see you posting again.

Welcome back Carl, stents are good stuff. When I was in for my first stent the guy in the room next to me was having his thirteenth put in. Better life through Chemistry.

Welcome back Carl. The worst part of the stents is going to be the cardiac rehab and your wife deciding what she's going to allow you to eat. When Sue had heer stents put in 4 years ago my diet changed for the worse. I'll bet by this time next year you'll have eaten so much chicken that you'll start to cluck.

Man, Carl, when you take time off, you don't just do the ordinary. Welcome back!
