    My most unique Freedom Pen

    Hopefully a photo is attached.

    Anybody care to guess why it is the most unique?

    Is it unique because you turned the end cap from the same wood as the body?

    Talking most unique pen

    The entire pen is made of WOOD. Clip, nib etc....

    Julie . . . you were partially right!

    Here's a photo that should explain the rest. The pen is 51" long and I turned it from a 4x4 rough cedar fence post. The RWB band is a separate piece that the top and bottom fits into. The color is from vinyl signmaking material.

    When we have TAT's or demos it should be a real eye-catcher!

    I think the big pen is very slick and will definately be an eye catcher...of course you are going to send me one aren't you?

    Great Job Jerry! So, how did that cedar turn? The few times I've worked with cedar (and I wasn't doing spinny things) it was splintery and tended to split easily. Did you find it difficult to turn? Any special techniques?
