    SawmillCreek Software Upgrade

    [SawmillCreek Announcement]

SawMill Creek is now open for business. We are making adjustments and configuration changes which may continue for the next few days as we see fit.

SawmillCreek will be down for a few minutes Sunday at 5:00 EST for a much
needed Software Upgrade. I don't anticipate we'll be down very long (hopefully less than 15 minutes).

During that time, you will not be able to access the forums.

When SawmillCreek comes back up, you will see lots of new things-

If you have any problems, email me at sawmill@sawmillcreek.org.

    Regards,

    _Aaron_

Hi Aaron. Well the format will take a little getting used to, but I will survive It looks like the screen was reorganized around to give the appearance of progress.

Is there something you can do with the "View New Posts" list? The General Woodworking and Power Tool forum takes up three lines in the listing, where one line is ideal. Being precise and terse is preferred over verbose titles
I am not suggesting a forum name change, just a shortening of the forum name in the new posts listing.
    Best Regards, Ken

Looks nice, although i have one suggestion..( if you are not looking for suggestions then by all means tell me to keep my opinions to myself )

Mousing over the title of a thread to get a peek inside is a great thing...but mousing over any part of the page and getting a peek inside is a little annoying for those of us who keep the cursor in the window to scroll. it needs to be adjusted is all..IMO.

Looking great Aaron, One little note: The Sawmill Creek logo shows up on the main page, but I only get the small white box with red x and Saw Mill Creek in small letters on the forum pages. What Gives ??

I am also not getting the logo to display in any of my browsers as Tony is reporting. The link for http://www.sawmillcreek.org/images/vBulletin_logo.jpg is being reported in Properties as "not available". I also don't see the chat button that Jackie mentions...see screen scrape below.

I generally like the new look. One thing that is missing that I liked about the previous version is the "forum tree" at the top and bottom of a thread so I know what forum I'm in and can click directly back to that forum or the top forum listing. Right now, it only shows "Sawmillcreek Array", which jumps back to the main forum listing.
