    Roses

I've seen several posts with carved flowers. This is a rose carving that I've done. The roses and leaves are basswood and thet are mounted on a manzantia root.

Very nice! (Stopped by on my way to the Turner's Forum - I could make the base !)
Spinning is good on a lathe, not good in a Miata.

Terrific carving, John. I also really like the design/composition.
