    Question Videos for Library

Sorry if this is posted several places; I'm not sure who posts where yet, and I don't want to miss any ideas.

Our local library is open to purchasing instructional videos that customers would like to see. I would like to give them a list of woodworking videos covering general woodworking, joinery, cabinet making, turning, etc. I have seen a few, but certainly nowhere near all. If you were compiling a library of, say, 10 videos, what would you be sure to include?

    Joe:

I found Kelly Mehler's "Making a Shaker Table" to be useful; alot of good general advice in addition to the specifics of constructing the table.

Another good one is Frank Klausz' video on Dovetail Joints.

Maybe a video on making raised panel doors (e.g., Sommerfeld's).

I hear Michael Dresdner's finishing videos are good.

    Joe,

I have about 6 of Marc Adams' videos and they are all excellent. I rewatch them from time to time to refresh my memory on one technique or another.
