    Jerry Allen has donated one of his
    Compensating Tool Rest Angle Gauge Kits which includes:

    A rest angle finder which compensates for wheel wear for 8"-5"
    diameter, and blade thickness.

    A wheel guage which allows grinding wheel measurement with guards in place.

    A tip angle gauge.


    "This item will not work on some thick tool rest platforms and is intended for Veritas type grinding rests. I would also like to get some feedback on different rests.

    As shown below, I am using it on a CSUSA Apprentice tool rest with an 8" Woodcraft Grinder. It will also work with 6" grinders."
