Thread: Scroll Saw Patterns

    Mike;
    It is quite easy to post a picture here.
    When you are in reply mode, just look above your message and on the two coloful icons , you will find that one is for a live link and one is for pictures. Select the one that that says insert image. Then a box will appear in the top left corner of your screen to insert the address url of your picture. It may ask for it the second time in which case, be sure to backspace out the http:// before inserting your address url . and then just like magic your picture will appear
    Here's a picture of my Dome Clock.

    hello

    I am new to the forum,

    but I have been scrolling now for about three to four years. I started out making one pattern and got very very very good at it. Then I looked for new ones. I suggest the libarary also but if it's like my local libarary you might be saddened to hear they may not have many patterns. Coloring books thats a cool idea new thought of that. Guess that could work. If your looking for anything specifc I suggest looking on google or some clipart places online and then playing with the image to make into a better pattern in a photo editor such as Adobe Photshop or something like that. If you need anything specific let me know I am always looking for new stuff so who knows I might stumble upon something you need.

    ps: Some patterns have limitations to how many you can make but if you read the limitations some say "Any finished project is your original work and is not subect to copyright". Just make sure to read the limitations

    You should be able to take any normal photograph and edit it a bit to get a pattern that might be scroll-sawable, I would think. I did some edge-enhancing and contour-mapping to this one (okay, fancy talk, I click two buttons that did this).

    Does this work? This pic is from Greece.
