Smile Consolidated Shipbuilders Corp. Morris Heights, New York

    Hi,

Can you tell me anything about Consolidated Shipbuilders Corporation? All I could find so far is that they built yachts and also ships for the Navy during WWI and II.

    Thanks Angus,
I am hoping to learn about some of the ships that were built with wood or finished inside with it, landing craft etc. I found a site on the wreck of the Verango which sank in Lake Michigan. Consolidated must have employed quite a few woodworkers back in those days.
